What is ECEI
The Early Childhood Equity Initiative is an effort to develop leaders in early childhood education, in the metro DC area and nationwide, with an understanding of the theory and practice that helps create culturally responsive environments for young children. By working with teachers, day care providers and parents of 3, 4 and 5 year olds, the Initiative seeks to promote the following anti-bias education goals for young children. More>>
