Tellin' Stories
Tellin’ Stories links classrooms and families through the arts of bilingual storytelling, quiltmaking, writing, and illustration. Parents trained through the project become storytellers in public schools. Tellin' Stories also offers Right Question Project workshops which share effective communication and advocacy skills that parents can use in interactions with their child's teacher, school administrator or citywide policymakers. Early Childhood Equity Initiative (ECEI)
The Early Childhood Equity Initiative is an effort to develop leaders in early childhood education, in the metro DC area and nationwide, with an understanding of the theory and practice that helps create culturally responsive environments for young children. More>>


Professional Development
Teaching for Change provides interactive presentations and workshops on the award-winning text, Putting the Movement Back into Civil Rights Teaching, published in 2004 by Teaching for Change and PRRAC. More>>
